Don’t think that nothing’s happening in the world of Mitzvahs just because no large celebrations are taking place! Vendors are HARD at work, developing new and inventive offerings to ensure that future bar mitzvah parties will be epic! Here is what we’re hearing some top Atlanta mitzvah vendors are working on.
Button It Up has been working hard to update green screen backgrounds and now have more than 500 new options (Yes. That’s 500 !) Choices include decades, destinations, sports and patterned backgrounds. But, custom requests can always be made for no additional charge.
Special Deal Alert! Any mitzvah family that books a package for 2021 by July 4 can get a free quarantine photo booth package available until the end of July. It includes a social booth (web cam and ring light station), backdrop, and personalization for capturing stills, boomerangs and GIFs. It’s a clever way to create mementos of an at-home social distancing celebration for a birthday, graduation or other summer celebration. You can also gift to a friend instead.
Caricatures by Tony has developed a remote caricature option, with digital drawings done over Zoom or other video conferencing technology. This offering can make relatives or friends feel part of the festivities, with a memento to keep as well!
Espeute Entertainment offers professional video broadcast services to stream for family or friends who can’t celebrate in person at your event. Live streams can be private or public through platforms like Facebook and YouTube. To take it a step further, Espeute’s video team can add more cameras for a multi-angle broadcast that can be edited live, streamed, recorded and handed over at the end of the event. You’ll go home with a fully edited video on the same day! Another new offering in the works is a rental station with large screen and camera/audio equipment that can allow in-person guests to interact with guests on Zoom, making them part of the party!
For All Occasions is designing new dinner and Kiddush menus of inventive dishes that fit any budget, guest count, or dietary need. Fresh vegan, gluten-free options like marinated tomato tofu tart and pineapple pepper salmon kabobs will be displayed on the caterer’s website in the next month or so. The site will have easier viewing options of menus. More a la carte options are coming, as well as a complete selection of pareve desserts.
Kendra Scott is offering curbside pickup at both Lenox and Avalon locations, with some proceeds going toward local hospital COVID-19 relief funds. Call for purchase and they will be placed right in your car when you go to pick them up. Virtual styling sessions are available by appointment as well, to help you choose the right pieces.
Talk of the Town Catering is developing a“safe menu” that moves away from a typical buffet set-up. The team is sourcing individual containers with lids (even tiny ones for passed nibbles) so that guests can feel comfortable that their food is being served safely. The menu is coming soon!
Vendors are continuing to dream up new ways to make sure celebrations go on! Keep checking back to find out what new plans are in the works. And, as always, reach out with questions !
